Wheels Spinning!

The place in that photo with the steps is where I'd like a retreat for a few days...with just books, my jewelry-making stuff, music and my camera...I think that would do me just fine!

Have you ever gone through a period where you feel like your wheels are spinning and you're not making progress, like you can't focus on getting a task done so you can get through all of the piles of crap you need to do? This week at work is summed up quite that way. I'm glad it's Friday...out of sight, out of mind! I cna't wait to leave my piles of work behind me for the weekend! The most progress I made this week was adding 6 more file trays to my desk, thus expanding the areas to put stacks of work...what was I thinking? At least my boss can feel more at ease as he walks past my desk and can see my smiling face instead of the top of my head behind piles of stuff! I had to put a table across my little path out from my desk and he laughed and asked if I was ok and said he hoped I didn't have to go to the bathroom really quick! Best to keep a sense of humor about it! Classes start in 11 days, that's 3 months too soon for me! I'm glad we're going on vacation September 10th, that day can't come quick enough!

TGIF! I leave you for the weekend with my favorite couple of photos that I took last night with our new (fabulous) camera (Canon Powershot A570IS).

I totally feel your work pain. The transition to a different department has been absolutely insane. I'm working 10-12 hour days lately!! AAAHHH!

Anyway, hope you have a great weekend! Oh, funny thing: I just realized a bit ago that my comments section was turned off to everyone except "team members". I have no idea how I accidentally did that. Bizarre! :)

Oh, I totally know what you mean. Lately I have been unable to work until about 6 p.m., which means my days are a combination of hiding and boredom. Well, that doesn't sound like something you do - but I definitely feel like I'm spinning my wheels...

I think it must be in the air, that "spinning my wheels" feeling. I have it, my brother has it, a few other people I know have it. At least there's good company here. ;)
