Chocolate Cake Club's Elf on the Shelf!

UPDATE: As promised, my Elf arrived quickly! I got it in the mail this morning and it's so cute!

We're all too vocal when we have negative experiences with something so I had to do a post today with a positive experience I had today when I found this GREAT product on Chocolate Cake Club's website. The site has The Elf on the Shelf family tradition product. It's this totally adorable little antique-style elf and a hardcover book that tells the story of this elf that is assigned to watch over your family each night and report back to Santa about who has been naughty or nice that day. Each morning he might be in a new spot for the kids to find him. As Santa is a big hit in our household and I LOVE traditions, my mom started one with our annual pickle prize and I'm starting this one next week when my item arrives! The family gets to name its Elf and your can write the name on the certificate at the back of the book. You can also go online and register your Elf! I'm so excited I can't even tell you!

Better than that, I fully expected I would not be able to get this item until after Christmas especially since they are waiting for another shipment to come tomorrow but when I emailed the website the President Sue Kirchner emailed me offering to ship it to me faster! She was totally speedy in her reply to my email and very friendly! I had found this product on other websites while I was shopping around for it this morning but went with Chocolate Cake Club after getting such great service before I was even their customer! So, stop on over to CCC and check out all of their products for some last minute holiday shopping!

The elf sounds so cute!
My mom does the pickle (it's an old German tradition). I have a pickle too, but we don't do the prize for finding it.
Traditions are great, new and old. Can't wait to read about Emma and the elf!
