Remember Jem Dolls? I was on some website the other day and there was something with the word Jem in it and made me think of Jem Dolls and the Misfits, the cartoon...always thought they were cool! I remember the Jem doll was always like Amazon Woman next to the regular barbies and I would have her have an affair with Ken and beat up Barbie. Haha! In exploring the net I happened across a fun 80's site that reminded me of "Fraggle Rock", Nickelodeon Shows like "You Can't Do That On Television" and "Pinwheel"...I still can remember the tune to Pinwheel...and thanks to one website I can now remember ALL of the lyrics instead of bits and peices!

They should re-air these shows for a fun 80's weekend or something...you've got those above plus Double Dare, Mister Wizard, Inspector Gadget, Picture Pages, Alf, Facts of Life (young George Clooney, ooh!), Who's the Boss, I loved My Two Dads for some reason, Punkie Brewster, Growing Pains (had a big crush on Kirk Cameron), Family Ties (Michael J. Fox...but I kind of always liked Mallory's boyfriend Nick plus I loved watching Knots Landing with my mom and OH MY GOSH, I found them Knots on DVD on Amazon, amazing! haha...it's fun to think back to all these shows and little crushes on the TV boys and staying up late watching shows when I should have been asleep...thank you parents for letting me have little 13" TV in my room! hehe

Ash...oh yeah, My Little Ponies! I just noticed they sell those in the store again!
And don't forget Care Bears and Strawberry Shortcake! My niece watches the Care Bears movies and Gosh! were they ever stupid!
Another show I used to watch was "Out of This World". Her dad was an alien and she talked to him through a pyramid thing that opened up. It was strange.
I can't remember any others though!
I never had a Jem doll. Boo hoo! I had a Rainbow Bright, though.

Oh yes, I loved how strawberry shortcake smelled!
And I totally wanted the pyramid thing from Out of this World, I loved that show too!

Black Raspberry Vanilla from Bath and Body is a good grown-up olfactory equivalent of "Strawberry Shortcake Head", if anyone cares.
And did anyone else think Jem was a doormat for letting her boyfriend screw around with her alter ego or was it just my budding feminist leanings and inclinations?
OMG Missy, I have to try that black raspberry vanilla...yum! I've been wanting to do a Bath & Body shopping day, I'll have to get to the mall one of these days!
